Sea Gold Bengals is located in a quiet, country home approximately 50 miles from Houston, Texas. Our cats are treated as family, with full run of the house, and with emphasis on a clean and relaxed atmosphere. The kittens receive a maximum amount of love and attention from the day they are born. We never place cats in cages.
As a breeder, we base our general objectives upon the TICA standard for the ideal representation of the Bengal breed: 'the goal of the Bengal breeding program is to create a domestic cat which has physical features distinctive to the small forest dwelling wild cats, and with the loving, dependable temperament of the domestic cat'.
Sea Gold's specific breeding goals for the Bengal are as follows:
1- Gentle, loving dispositions with playful personalities
2- horizontal patterns with extreme contrast
3- clear golden coats offset with rich, black rosettes
4- wild looking bodies which closely match the wild ancestor
